It seems that everyone is doing lists at the moment. Who am I to buck a trend?

Having said that, a music list cannot possibly be written with only single songs on it. I have a collection of some 800 albums in one format or another, so individual tracks are almost impossible to recall in one go. So here is my favourite album list - and even here I've taken liberties by grouping some together.

Let's face it, this is not a subject for the Wisdom of Solomon. Oh, and yes. The list does show my age...

An endless list... )

And that, Dear Reader, is that. I am off to iron a shirt, have a shower and feel incredibly old all of a sudden...

Given the number of IT problems we have been having recently which was down for most of Christmas and the new year, we are re examining the Departments IT strategy.

There are going to be lot of changes that are going to be taking place across the board as far as the servers & personal computers go.

The goal is to remove all laptop computers by December 2003 and all desktops computers by February 2004 as a part of the ongoing cost-cutting around the place. Instead, everyone will be provided with an Etch-A-Sketch.

There are many sound reasons for doing this:

1. No boot-up problems
2. No technical glitches keeping work from being done.
3. No more wasted time reading and writing emails.
4. No more worries about power cuts.
5. Budget savings on Upgrades unparalleled
