Two years ago I decided to dispense with base 10 counting as far as age goes. So I am now a few short hours away from being 22 (base 21 - Which is far more preferable to expressing same in binary. Trust me).

The downside is that a couple of years ago I was K-teen which is confusing. Though not as confusing as I-teen or 1I which looks awkwardly like 11.

Anyways, any of you in the London area on Friday are welcome to pop along and help me eat chinese nosh in the Oasis on Clapham High Street from 8pm onwards.

That's 8pm in normal numbers.

There is a limit to what I can cope with in base 21.

I arrive home to find that [livejournal.com profile] pax_draconis has been using his time to discuss plotlines with people (ie Pete) again. Is he a member of this benighted community?

In itself a bad thing, I'll warrant, but it does mean that I now have to read the pages so deftly e-mailed to me and commit them to memory. And we know what my memory's like, do we not, gentle reader?

Non bleeding existent is what. Well, not entirely true but it is easier to remember stuff I've nattered about. Reading goes in one eye and out the other (upside - matchboxes are never boring).

Still, despite not daring to go near coffee in case tonight ends up like last, I shall read, digest and think upon their musings. Maybe even add a line or two of my own.

Oh, you lucky, lucky players. Each and everyone like a rabbit in the headlights. Right up to the moment when as a gestalt entity you generate your own plotlines out of the blue and we have to wing it during the event.

Gad. Why do I let myself in for this stuff?

Ah, yes, I remember now.

I'm an idiot.
