Got Milk?

Canada is clearly a less fraught country than the UK as evidenced by this milk carton.

Now, I know it stands for 'homogenized', and I'm a tolerant, broadminded chap, but I couldn't finish my cornflakes this morning.

Got Milk?

God bless Canada, but Eww...

Due to stunning laziness on my part, I have to go to Sainsbury's today for the week's shopping. That means being part of the mêlée that is Sunday afternoon in a supermarket.

I have had a long conversation with the contents of my fridge and we have both decided that if they don't bother me, I won't upset them. That is to say that I shall allow the contents to relocate peacefully. Most of the contents is being quite reasonable, but there is a fairly belligerent pack of something that was once processed, but which has since evolved, pacing around below the icebox and flaunting its sell by date at me in an accusing fashion.

The fresh milk is cowering in the door, hiding behind a stoic jar of raspberry jam. I think it is trying to avoid the processed thing.

It took me a while to get going this weekend.

I promised myself that I'd get a whole heap of NWO writing done. In the end, however, I have made a load of pointless LJ updates and faffed around royally. But earlier this evening I sat down to do something as the guilt began to gnaw at me.

Oh, I should have braced myself earlier and got going several hours ago. I'd forgotten precisely how much I enjoy writing Michael Kananainos, the two-faced, conniving, arrogant bastard. I'm in one of those moods where he's standing there telling me his life story and explaining patiently why everything he does is right, and everyone else is a small minded fool.

You know you're getting it right when you want to play your own character sheet in a game.

Coffee and a smoke, now, and then more conniving...

Heh.

Blimey. It's near on 12.30am and the sheet is just getting longer and longer. I'm stopping for now, and I think a bit of editing may be needed tomorrow before I launch back into it.

I do like writing this character...
