Monday. In London.

Wow. Today has been a busy, busy day. And not a bad one, either. Time has flown by but I think it's been quite productive.

I am getting close to finishing the first draft of my project and I have quite enjoyed it; it is a type of work I fancy that I am reasonably good at, rather than some of the airy-fairy tasks that come my way most of the time. I am hoping to have it finished by Wednesday lunchtime, and after that I have some drivel jobs to do before launching (after the bank holiday) into my next GREAT ENDEAVOUR tm which is to rewrite the housing WebPages for the division.

Fancy that. I know next to nothing about html mark-up; best get a book, methinks. One of those html for dummies jobs, I think. If nothing else it will be useful for if I ever decide to do something productive with my personal web space.

In other matters, tonight I lounge around until after Enterprise (yes, I hear the shouts of Geek! Geek! and I care not. ) and then start on another character sheet for NWO. There's only three of my original allocation left, and I'm looking forward to writing two of them. The third….? Hmm.

Oh well, I'm sure I can manage something; gotta fill the forthcoming bank holiday weekend with something, after all. Can't have me out and about enjoying myself, can we? Hah.

I want to get this character writing done so that I can revisit Dimpler Towers with a thought that has been floating around in my head for months, now, and then try a bit more of Tempus Fugit.

In short, I want to write something for me for a while once this has been done.

And I've promised to draw Baggy. And she'll hit me if I don't.

Hmm...

Auntie's website confirms that Billie Piper aka Mrs Ginger Tosser will play the Doctor's assistant, Rose Tyler when Doctor Who returns to the Beeb early in 2005.

The jury is still out, but the judge is scuffling around looking for the black cap.

Tonight it was my sworn intent to write - or more precisely start to write a new NWO character sheet. I believe I mentioned this in an earlier posting just this very afternoon.

Mission accomplished.

I started to write a character sheet. I carefully crafted the title and name, and saved the file under the correct name. I opened a couple of other files to remind me what continuity links I needed to make, and sat at the keyboard.

And then my brain slowly seeped out through my ears and I sat for ten minutes considering the life cycle of a dust bunny I'd missed under the TV.

I can't write anything productive tonight; this entry is as good as it will get. I am in full zombie mode and am retiring now to contemplate the vastness of creation and the pittance of my income and marvel at their inverse relationship.

Then I think I may just go to sleep. I am suddenly very, very tired.
