Not a bad weekend all in all, but it's too late to witter on about that right now, and probably not interesting enough for me to do it tomorrow if I'm too busy to write it at the office.

All I know is that tomorrow is going to be a tad chilly regardless of the weather. Yes, My Only Reader, I have had the clippers out on the old pate again. For a couple of weeks now I have been remarking how the top of the head was beginning to resemble a particularly sad dandelion clock, and when I realized that it was actually long enough to slick down with water I knew it was time to be rid of it.

Unfortunately, despite considerable experience with the clippers, it is always pretty much hit and miss, and takes a lot longer doing one's own head than it would be to do someone else's. Tonight I got the job done, shaved and showered and then sat at the PC, started browsing and scratched the back of my head. To find what felt like a bloody great caterpillar of hair at the back that I'd missed.

Bugger.

So back out with the clippers and another half hour of chasing recalcitrant wisps of hair around my head. I think it's done now, but I think I should wear a hat tomorrow. It's going to be chilly up there for a day or two until I acclimatize again.

Still, nearly seven years now since I had to remember where I left my comb, so it's not all bad.
