Saturday, October 2nd, 2004 11:20 pmI am quite astonishingly tired. I haven't felt fully awake all day; I don't know why.
Apart from a trip out this afternoon for lunch and to buy milk, I have stayed inside all day - which, given the downpour we had late afternoon is probably no bad thing, but even by my standards, the lethargy I have been feeling is really quite exceptional. I think I'll go to bed shortly and hope for more energy tomorrow. I was going to do some painting, but somehow it never happened, the base picture has been ready for a week, but I haven't got around to applying the paints.
Ho hum.
In other news, Mrs. Z has bought a chihuahua puppy of about two months old. It is the smallest dog I have ever seen bar none. It can't be longer than 8 or 9 inches from the tip of its tail to its nose. It has only been loose on the ground floor once while I have been around and quite frankly, I am worried about standing on the little brute. It certainly rates about 11 on the cute scale, but my God, it's small. I can't see it making its way up three flights of quite steep stairs at any time soon, but it might be wise to shift some of the mouse traps (and poison) just in case. Or at least make sure the kitchen door is closed at all times.
As much as I like dogs, I wish she'd bought a cat.
