Games to be had
Monday, January 17th, 2005 05:23 pmRight, here's a scratch list, in no particular order, of the games I am hoping to unload. If I can't give them away before the move, I'll try ebay afterwards. Rather than go into a great deal of detail here, I'll list the name and publisher, with a one line description (if I can remember what the bloody game is about), and you can google them.
If you want any, all you have to do is contact me and arrange to pick them up.
Condottiere - Eurogames (Strategy in Renaissance Italy)
Joan of Arc - Tilsit Games (Strategy and conquest during 100 years war - not dissimilar to Condottiere)
El Grande - (with two expansions) - Hans Im Gluck (Strategy and economics in Spain)
Entdecker - Gold Sieber Spiele (Exploration in the Caribbean)
Welfen und Staufer: Kuhlmann Geschichtspiele (privately produced simulation of the 13th Century German Civil War)
Streetcar - Mayfair Games (trolley cars in New Orleans)
Das Faultier - Eurogames (The Sloth game. Win by falling asleep under as many other sloths as possible)
Medieval Merchant - Rio Grande Games - Trade in Mediaeval Europe
Lord of the Rings - Hasbro/Parker (English version of game. Sauron is apparently a Vorlon...)
Die Siedler von Nurnberg - Kosmos (Siedler von Catan variant produced for 900th anniversary of founding of Nuremberg)
Sternenfahrer von Catan - Kosmos (Settlers in Space)
Shark - Ravensberger (stock market game)
Wildcatter (publisher unknown) Monopoly clone with oilwells in Texas
Teufel, Teufel! - Sala Games
White Lady - Publisher unknown (Ghost hunt game)
Adel Verpflichtet - FX Schmidt (Original version of Fair Means or Foul, art trading game)
Automania - Livingstone Games (Car building and export game. Limited edition of 1,000 by Ian Livingstone)
Quo Vadis? - Hans Im Gluck (Negotiate or intrigue your way to become Roman Emperor)
Spiele der Turme - Schmidt Spiele (Abstract tower building game)
I also have a nice wooden backgammon set I never use...
