(no subject)

Although I have today booked off as leave, I had planned, last night, to go in to work today and reallocate my day off to some other time.

But this morning was so cold, and I was so snug, hidden in the depths of my quilt and favourite blanky, that it didn't quite happen. I suppose that shall now have to do some more packing and sorting to restore the karmic balance.

I shall be glad once this is all sorted out. It rather dominates my thinking, and I'd like to have it dominated by something else as it were.

Having found yet more boxes of comics, I shall be off to Avalon thios afternoon, to purchase more comic boxes, so that I can free up photocopy paper boxes for books. I'm getting serious deja vu, here.

Have purchased the two extra comic storage boxes, and returned home.

I have packed two very large boxes of CDs which are just on the edge of carryability. I need another box about the same size, or slightly larger for those that are left. In so packing, I discover that the four boxes of comics are in fact six, and since then I have discovered another two. Eight boxes in total. Suddenly the two purpose sized collectors boxes look one too few.

Dear God, this stuff is beginning to appear from other dimensions, I'm sure of it. This garret just isn't big enough for the amount of stuff in it. I still have three cupboards that I haven't ventured near. What is going to come out of them?

The amount of stuff I have bagged for throwing away is unbelievable, too. But the place is as cluttered as ever. It is spontaneously generating, I tell you. Generating. Where is it all coming from?

Tonight is quiz night. I will need a few pints of ale. This is ridiculous.
