Monday, February 28th, 2005 10:59 pmWell, Adam sans LJ has moved his stuff out, and now the long process of unpacking begins. I have made a start by filling shelves with books, but it will be a long job, and will probably be done mainly this weekend coming.
Tomorrow, DT also sans LJ and I are wandering around to the landlord's letting agents to find out about signing the lease. I thought it might be wise as the rent is due and I have no details of who to pay, and so on, while Adam has cancelled his standing order. There is nothing like a chunk of missing income to focus the mind, so it will be best to intercept any potential moans from the landlord before they get going.
I had a very strange phone call this afternoon on my mobile. Someone phoned, asked to speak to me and then the line went dead. They never phoned back, and the number was withheld. I'm not really any the wiser, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it was the place I bought my bed from, about to tell me that it will be delayed again. That's not confirmed, of course, but I tend to be pessimistic about these things, an attitude I realise is somewhat at odds with what I regard as a generally positive outlook.
Ah well, we'll see.
Not much else to write at the moment, so I'll bugger of afore ye all die of boredom.
