For all the dire warnings about the forecast cold snap, it is actually milder tonight than it has been for a week. It's still chilly, and there's a fair old fog across toward Totteridge, but indoors, with the central heating on downstairs at least, it's a bit too mild. Up here in The Tower I have yet to turn the radiators on as I prefer temperatures a little lower than the mean. I did not, however, expect to be opening the window in the computer room, and the small window in my bedroom (which has not been entirely closed, but is now wide open)to get a cross draft. I expect that I shall be keeping the bedroom door open, too.

Tonight was quiz night. We got tonked again. I am losing interest after 12 years of this. I don't mind losing, but somewhere down the line, someone redefined general knowledge, and the stuff in my brain doesn't seem to count anymore. And I was reading the questions, not playing - at least not until the post match friendly.

Ah well. Bed now. It begins again in just over six hours.
