caddyman: (NWO)
The writing process continues.

I am slowly getting to the point where I shall need to start overhauling stuff I've already written to make sure it all gels. The trouble is in some cases, I expect the character to go in one direction, and it ups stakes and wanders off in quite another. This means that I have to re-think some of the others, some of whom I had hoped were putatively finished.

Oh well, c'est la vie.

The sense of writing in isolation is quite strong this time; I missed probably the most important of the two team meetings we've had and I don't seem to have quite caught up, yet. This is annoying. I'm not sure why I feel off to one side; I'm no more isolated geographically than other writers, and considerably less so than one at least.

Oh well, ever onwards and upwards.

As usual, I shall concentrate on making sure my bits of plot line fit together, and work in the important linkages as and when they occur. Three first drafts down; seven to go. Then come the second drafts and additional bits.

Remind me why we do this?

I'm guessing it must have been about midnight when it happened, but the Lennon picture on my info page, which was hosted on my old ntl webspace disappeared.

It's only taken them ten and a half months to notice that I don't subscribe to them any more.

I suppose, if I could be bothered, I could upload a heap of stuff to my photobucket account (I have with the Lennon), so that my post for NWO Rome will have its pictures back. But that was September 2004. Does anyone ever read that far back?

I am confused.

I went to bed very late, but seem to have managed to sleep through uninterrupted until my alarm went off at 7.30...
