Mmm... food...

I was going to sit and write something both profound and amusing here tonight, but by the time I had scoffed a plate of fishcakes, hash browns and chips and washed them down with coffee and malt loaf whilst watching the CSI double bill, I decided I was too full for profundity and humour.

I can smile contentedly and burp a bit, but you will have to take my word for that.

Actually I might be just a little bit too full. Thank God I refrained from the waffer-theen meent after the meal. It could have gone horribly wrong. Cor, and me without backup in the Athenaeum Club all week. Could have been interesting in a Chinese curse sort of way.

Well, can't sit here all night chatting. Have to iron a shirt and have a shave and stuff. Good night, one and all.
