I am just passing this along for anyone who has a paid account but who, like me, can't be bothered (as a rule) to read [livejournal.com profile] paidmembers.

Following the power outage a week or so ago, paid members are being offered a free one-week extension to their subscription. Details are here.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] jfs for the heads up.

Time Out

I am taking a few minutes out from drafting amendments to a chapter of the Housing Revenue Account Manual (2007 edition). It is every bit as dry as you would imagine, but shouldn't be particularly difficult.

Nonetheless, I have got into a loop of indecision on how to approach a couple of paragraphs dealing with a Direction that has been repealed, but which still needs to be mentioned because the information is still valid for the period ending 31 March this year. I then need to add in information on the Direction that replaced it from 1 April. This should not be too difficult a task, but I seem to be swimming in a sea of indecision on how to set the information out and how much detail to retain from the earlier document.

I think I might go and do something else and come back to it later or even tomorrow when my brane has re-set.

God, this is frustrating!
