Sometime later, despite a close call involving caviar, tentacles, egg whites and ink, all is resolved and both parties retire for a dandelion break. Differences resolved. For now.

Wednesday

Oh, tis a dreary day today, compounded by more fun and games on the Northern Line leaving me to get into the office around 10.30. I don’t know why the line was suspended at Totteridge & Whetstone, but it involved an ambulance and the police. I guess my annoyances are therefore petty and trite, but they tax me nonetheless.

On the up side, I picked up a couple of packages from the Post Office, one for me and one for Elle. We were somewhat misdirected by getting but one missed delivery note for the pair of us, leading me to expect a single parcel jointly addressed. Not so, two separate parcels from Amazon, one each.

Right. I have some photocopying to do. Job applications are one of those few areas in the civil service still governed by the need for papers in triplicate!

My Girl done bought me some Dandelion & Burdock what I ent had since I was a wee nipper.

It's just a little 500ml bottle of Morrisons' own as a taster, with a view to buying a big 2L bottle if we like it.

I remember it being a little stronger flavoured than this, but it is clearly Dandelion & Burdock! Hurrah.

It makes your burps taste nice.

Soda
