GASP

I am awaiting the arrival of romney, theoretically at about 11.30, but since as I type there's been nor a squeak and it's 11.29, well...

Once he arrives, we will have a nice cup of char and then get in touch with the lads for a lift to Edmonton, lunch and then off to Norfolk for the sadly reduced GASP weekend. We are one number short through illness and another, rumfuddle will only be along for a reduced portion of the weekend as he and his Lady only moved house yesterday (delayed from Wednesday, delayed from a week ago, delayed from October - you get the picture) and there are issues with electricity and heating in their new abode. It's a pain, but what can you do? I am informed that there is a story behind all this that I shall get to hear along with the plans for appropriate revenge in due course.

He's a mild mannered (if loud) sort of chap, is Mr Fuddle, but I'm pretty sure that he would make an implacable enemy id crossed and I understand that he has much to be implacable about in this case.

While I am waiting the arrival of yon gerbil, I find that I have a catalogue newly arrived from www.iwantoneofthose.com ; this is what you get for buying mail order sharks to upset impress Furtle. There's some odd stuff to be found in it, but I am rather taken by the boxing grannies.

Additional: So far it has taken nearly 20 minutes to decode 45% of Ratatouille onto my Flash Memory drive and I am suddenly uncertain that I have anything that will play the brute once it's finished. Bum.
