Not as chilly as it should be!
Sunday, December 16th, 2007 04:41 pmFirstly, although yesterday was all cold and sunny, without a cloud in the sky and despite the fact that today has been the same, it clouded over last night and turned quite mild. All that lovely hoar frost I was looking forward to simply never arrived. Pah.
I shall, therefore, attach the best of the two views I took the other morning with my Razr as I was going to work. This is what winter should look like; cold and icy but bright and sunny. Snow is nice, but it can be a pest. A good strong frost on the other hand...

I whipped off to Camden earlier this afternoon to nip into Mega City in the hopes of purchasing a comic or two. What a waste of time that was; Ultimate Fantastic Four #49, which I had been led to believe would be out this week is now scheduled for next week, which in realistic terms means the week after. Despite much staring at the stock, nothing else recommended itself. To add insult to injury, on Sunday afternoons Camden Town station is exit and interchange only, so I had to wander down to Mornington Crescent to get home. Still, I picked up a roast chicken for tonight's dinner. I normally like to roast them from scratch, but I think that every freezer in the area must be stuffed with dead fowl. Never mind, it will take about an hour to heat this brute through in the oven, so with a little oil, I can include some taters.
Making me feel hungry already, it is.
