The week off begins
Sunday, March 16th, 2008 03:01 pmIt's been a quiet start to our week of, helped along by the fact that the weather has turned cold, wet and windy again so we haven't much like venturing out. This means that a lot of sleep has been had and a lot of X-Files watched. I have also taken the opportunity to catch up on season 4 of Stargate Atlantis, which ios proving to be entertaining if light weight (not that I expected anything else!).
In a moment or two I shall go and have a shower and get changed. We are off for an early dinner in Kensington followed by a trip to the Royal Albert Hall for an evening of light classical music in the company of
westernind and
forbinproject. The former is singing in at least one of the pieces we shall be seeing. Thereafter, I imagine we shall find time for a beer and then home.
The Transport for London website predicts a travel time of 47 minutes between Whetstone and Kensington. Whoever thought that one up must have been high on something; I expect it to take at least an hour, excluding the walk at either end.
