Having taken the day off to make it a four day weekend, Furtle and I went to the noon showing of Iron Man at the Vue Cinema in East Finchley.
Fantastic; thoroughly enjoyed the movie and Robert Downey Junior is inspired casting as Tony Stark. It's not that deep a movie as you would imagine for the superhero genre, but it is well-made, with excellent special effects, the story hangs together without ant real stretches (provided you accept the future tech) and you find yourself liking the characters.
Great rock sound track - if there was ever a superhero who demands heavy metal tracking, it has to be Iron Man!
If you go to see the movie, make sure you don't do what everyone else in the audience did by leaving as soon as the credits roll. There is a short teaser at the end of the movie.
