I am home today and after getting up early to ensure that telemeister got out of the house early enough to get his train and cooking breakfast, I took the opportunity to grab a couple of hours' more kip. That only worked partially as I left the radio on and that seems to have given me odd dreams that woke me up again.

I have now decided to return to the task of ripping CDs to my iPod. This is slowly coming to an end, I am onto the compilations and soundtracks now, then will come the classical pieces and I shall have finished. I have passed the 10,000 tracks mark and am motoring on. I doubt that I shall hit the 15,000 tracks I have on my Walkman as some of those were ripped from albums I no longer have access to.

Shortly I will nip downstairs and do a bit of tidying and washing up and have a spot of lunch. I have a doctor's appointment after that - simply for her to check that the wart on my nose is, in fact, a wart. The nurse was 90% certain but thought the doctor might like to take a squint at it simply because of its location.

Later then, off to the West End. A meet up with ellefurtle, a trip to Forbidden Planet and a bite to eat before sauntering up to the College Arms for thalinoviel's birthday drinks.
