It is not unreasonable to say that yesterday didn't really happen, or at least it didn't really get going until late, which means that there are knock on effects with today.

We crawled out of bed around elevenish on Sunday, and prepared bacon muffins for breakfast, ensuring that (I hope) [livejournal.com profile] kathbad managed to get away suitably fed and watered. I am not sure that we had much planned for the remainder of Sunday, but if we had, it never happened. We had vaguely planned to wander down to Camden and visit [livejournal.com profile] motorpickle and Chris sans LJ for their regular pudding afternoon, but I must confess that an early afternoon restorative nap actually accounted for several hours. The beer sleep of the previous night having proven somewhat ineffectual. This meant that in many ways, Sunday didn't exist as a coherent entity.

In the end, we caught up on two episodes of Battlestar and an episode of House, absorbed a very tasty curry from across the road and pootled around on the computers until far too early in the a.m. before fading out until about 10.30 this morning. So, as I say, Sunday didn't really happen and today is serving as surrogate. Happily, we managed our chores on Saturday, so a further day of lounging won't put us behind on anything.

I have taken the opportunity to update my bio page. It is more of an updated edit than a rewrite overall, and I have compensated for the reduced word count by blithely adding a World War Two Ministry of Information motivational poster, which seems strangely appropriate in these days of muted desperation. This the poster whose colour I have dubbed stiff upper lipstick.

More in due course.
