Literary Tube
Service announcements on the Tube are to include little gems of wisdom from Gandhi, Einstein and Sartre amongst others. Turner Prize-nominated artist Jeremy Deller has compiled a list of quotations to be used by Tube drivers.
Meanwhile on Radio 2, Wogan has just pointed out that in Dublin some years back, philosophical scratchings were included on wall posters around the city: "The first three minutes of life are the most dangerous" quoted a poster outside a hospital. The graffito below went further: "The last three are pretty fookin' hairy, too!"
