Shropshire
Sunday, July 26th, 2009 11:37 pmThe journey up to Shropshire was uneventful and for once involved minimal waiting time between trains.
Mum doesn't like to admit it, but she is getting very forgetful and the trip from the station was interesting. My nephew, Tom was due to spend the night crashing at his sister's and had forgotten his bag. Mum remembered the bag, but tried to deliver it to his Dad's place. We sorted it out eventually and washed up at Hayley's house.
My great niece, Courtney, didn't remember or recognise her uncle Bry - I hadn't got the comedy wig on, you see. But by the time I'd left and they had come up to Wem, I think I was her new best friend!
There's nothing much else to report; I just thought it might be fun to keep you in touch with non-events.
