Coffee I; Writing II

Crumbs. I think I may have over done it with the coffee today. I am positively tidal – I can feel the moon traversing the sky. An hour ago it was above my left kidley, now it’s part way above my liver and moving west…

The only way out of this conundrum, I think, is to drink more coffee. This may sound daft, but it will force the stuff I’ve already consumed to er, move on as it were. Apart from which, wandering off to the tea point is one of the few entertainments around here. This morning the boiler was being serviced, so we had to go around the corner and through Bat Country to the other tea point. I don’t think it had been mopped out since I used it last, about six months ago. Then they wonder why there are mice in this place.

I have managed to write some more Dimpler Towers, but it’s still only creeping along. It doesn’t feel humorous, that’s the problem. It feels forced.

Oh the irony of it all. I’m actually in the mood to write and the inspiration won’t come and with no deadlines or indeed commitment to fulfil, it’s only gritted teeth that’re keeping me going. Ah me, what to do? What to do?

This information from my good friend, [livejournal.com profile] drjohnsilence.

Starman proves that the best - and possibly the only way - to take down a grizzly bear, is to hit it with a tiger.

This my friends, is why Starman is a hero and we are not.

If [livejournal.com profile] _tonylee_ turned in work of this quality he would never need to work again. I do not doubt it.
