I really needed yesterday off. This morning I am awake and chirpy for once.

I wouldn't quite go so far as to say that I am looking forward to going to work - that might be over egging it a bit, but at least I shan't be feeling leaden while I'm there.

I don't think I'd realised just how run down I was feeling.

RIP Mary Travers

American folk singer Mary Travers, one-third of the group, Peter, Paul and Mary has died in Connecticut aged 72 after suffering complications from treatment for leukaemia.



In the 1960s Peter, Paul and Mary released 17 US singles which charted in the US Hot 100.They had number ones with Puff the Magic Dragon, Blowin' in the Wind and Leaving on a Jet Plane.

It's quiet here and I fancy some music.

Being the knobhead that I am, I took my iPod out of my bag to charge it and forgot to put it back afterwards. "Never mind," you say, "you have an iPhone with a more limited selection of music, but nonetheless several hours of noise and podcasts to entertain you!".

And you'd be right. It may be many Gigabytes smaller capacity wise, but there are still a couple of hundred choons on my iPhone, more than enough for my immediate listening needs.
