Ilford Calling, Ilford Calling...
Wednesday, June 16th, 2010 04:38 pmWe are now on-line in our new abode and I have managed to set up the wireless, though I haven't tried it downstairs, yet.
Posts will start to pick up again now, but relatively slowly as we are still unpacking and moving bits and pieces around trying to make everything fit. Thank you all for your best wishes with our move and adventure in home-owning. It's a little bit scary, but fun, too. For the record, we have cable telly, too. It's come a long way since I was with NT-Hell (I realise they were essentially the same company as Virgin) and I am pleased and surprised to find that we can watch BBC iPlayer on the main telly downstairs. Hurrah!
Right now I am going to make myself a cup of coffee and sit in my garden to drink it. Then I shall get on with more unpacking!

Have decamped to our new local, the Prince of Wales. It's a bit on the spit and sawdust side, but I've been in worse. On the plus side, in the garden where we are now, we can pick up our own wifi, which is how this post is coming to you.
Not saying it's very close, you understand.
