Thursday, July 29th, 2010 02:33 pmWell that’s a load off my mind. Whenever I arrange to take delivery of something at work, there is always the underlying worry that it will disappear into the system and never come out. Last time you may, but probably won’t, recall UPS contrived to send my order to an entirely different building in the locality that is not even remotely connected with this place. That was about this time last year, I think. It’s hard to tell – time is a malleable quality around here; the future, present and past tend to intermix into a sullen grey eternity of paperwork and ludicrous regulation.
I digress. My snus has arrived from Stockholm and thus I am a happy camper. I have been meaning to order it for some weeks now, but only got around to it late on Monday night (or more accurately yesterday morning, just after midnight). Not only did it take but one day to arrive, but it came to the right building and ended up as it should, in the mail room. This latter is a minor miracle in itself.
If only I could buy it locally.
