atishoo, atishoo, we all fall down
Friday, January 14th, 2011 11:19 amLast night I left the office absolutely convinced that I was developing a cold. My eyes felt like sandpaper, my throat was beginning to feel croaky and I was more than halfway to becoming a snot monster and sneezing like a professional.
Of course, the fresh air outside the office helped as it always does, but my eyes still ached later on in the evening.
Well, this morning I woke up feeling fine. My breathing was clear, my eyes and throat were fine.
Now I am back in the office and I’ve started sneezing again. My nose is beginning to stream and though my eyes and throat are okay so far, I suspect that I shall be a-croak by the end of the day. It is far too hot in here and there is no air movement. They were supposed to be cutting the heating, but instead it seems to have been turned up to levels that were fine during the freeze, but too tropical now it’s gone mild.
I think I am allergic to this place.
