I may have had problems in the run up to Christmas with deliveries from Amazon, but I can’t say that about my most recent purchase. On Monday I ordered a leather case for my Kindle and it arrived yesterday by common or garden first class post. Good old Royal Mail.
I decided a few days ago that despite the rather high prices, I needed a case for the Kindle a) to stop it getting scratched or clattered in my bag, but also b) to provide some kind of shock absorber should I inadvertently drop it on something more resilient than a foam bed. It is a nice little piece of kit, but it is plastic, after all and expensive. I am hoping it is not too fragile, but I don’t want to take the risk.

There are1 a number of options out there that are rather cheaper, including slip cases, but with a slip case you have to take the device out and that means it is not protected. So that meant the leather case that opens like a book cover. At £30 or so, it’s a bit pricey, but it looks very good, is of excellent quality and is very sturdy. I am not disappointed in the slightest; quite the contrary, I am very pleased with it.
1I still think "is" is more logical, but hey, English grammar...
