My ears are still playing up, though the odd sensitivity to noise seems to be worse in the street, where it is much louder anyway. Stay inside as much as possible, then.
Whatever’s wrong with them seems to have moved a bit more to the inner ear: when I changed from the train to the underground at Stratford, I felt momentarily light headed and then for a couple of minutes just walking felt like I was on the deck of a ship. After sitting on the tube carriage with my eyes closed, it seemed to be somewhat better by the time I got to Westminster and I walked to Victoria without incident, though my legs feel stiff and leaden. As yesterday, I am also radiating heat like a furnace, but don’t seem to be running a temperature. I certainly don’t feel feverish.
So my personal operational status board has the lights in the yellow, occasionally flickering into amber. Nothing is green and nothing is red. I think I shall try and go home early tonight.
