Either my tolerance for such things is in decline, or there is more pollen around this year than last. My eyes itch and I could really do with scratching my lungs.

This despite taking an antihistamine pill this morning.

Of course, it’s probably no worse than previous years, but who remembers precisely how irritating hay fever was a year or two ago?

It's worse this year for sure. Last year I had the annoyance of the spiky stuff from the trees on the embankment like I am now, but I don't think I needed the drugs so early or got so sneezy.

I was pretty bunged up all weekend, and I don't know if it was a cold or hayfever.

If it was hayfever, that's usually a sign it's getting bad cos I only suffer when it's really heavy.

but who remembers precisely how irritating hay fever was a year or two ago?

Surely that's what your Livejournal archive is for? :-)

Both of you may feel free to come and live over here - it's nowhere near as bad. I suffered terribly when I was a kid.

I'm not sure - I think there's a lot of tree pollen, but if it's just one type or many that's doing for me, I don't know.

I don't think grass pollen is such a problem, I do get hayfever in the summer, but it's always worse in spring.

I recommend Zicam, it always seems to knock out my allergy-related problems.
