The curse of Fox TV

There's something odd about Fox TV.

Having surprised most people by giving Dollhouse a second season, they have now cancelled it before it has chance to get anywhere...



From this discussion, I think it is probably a good thing, because like the writer I liked but didn't love it. But mainly because it will allow Joss Whedon finally to get out from under Fox TV and go somewhere in the cable networks where they might just give him the latitude he needs to develop his ideas.

I have watched most of season 1 and really enjoyed it. It is not Firefly, but it is certainly preferable to anything past early buffy and any angel at all.

That and ED is actually very pretty ;)

Later buffy has some gems, and is still better than 90% of its contemproraries. Angel was good. You are wrongheaded.

ED is okay, but I'd have preferred a more ensemble approach as I've wittered several times in reference to DH.
