Yawning

I just had a very big and most satisfying yawn.

Unfortunately the accompanying stretch took out my poppy.

I have repaired it, but they're never the same again.

That is all.

Until I read on, I thought 'poppy' was a euphemism. I'll get mi coat.

Oh, oh, t'other day I gave an old vet chap 2 pounds for his collection tin/plastic. Now, he was nattering to another old chap but he did say thank you. However; he didn't give me a poppy!

How much are the darn things these days? I thought two squid would be a sufficiency of gold but apparently not. I can only hope that it wasn't because I gave an insultingly small sum but that it was that he was too engrossed in his nattering to remember that part of the deal. At this rate I'll have to dust off last year's one ;)
