Much to my surprise and possible horror, I think that the impossible has happened.

I have just finished drinking a mug of coffee AND I DIDN’T ENJOY IT!

I think I have got fed up with coffee. Is that even possible? If I can get sick of coffee, can I get sick of tea, too? Surely not. What will I drink at home of I can’t drink gallons of tea? It’s bad enough if I do without coffee at work – it’s often the difference between actually doing anything and sitting staring into the middle distance.

Or sleeping.

Maybe I just need to find a different brand? The stuff I have at the moment is M&S instocaff, and not the posh instocaff. This is the bulk standard, cheapo stuff. Maybe I should go back to the slightly more expensive version, or even buy a cafetiere (sp?) and drink yer actual ground coffee? I don’t know.

Maybe a weekend of proper coffee in the morning, followed by tea the rest of the time will cure me. Right now, however, I’m afeared by the prospect of sitting in the office without coffee.

Gad; I need a Polo to take the taste away…

I must say, instant coffee just doesn't hit the mark now that I've gotten used to the ground stuff.

I have had this option removed from me some time ago with coffee making me quite ill. Sometimes tiramisu will have enough coffee in to do the trick too.

Caffeine also plays havoc with my wiring and so tea is also minimised!

My sister was utterly flummoxed in the summer as I was not sure how Col has his tea-in spite of living together for over 14 years. We just tend to be a cold drink household (occasional hot chocolate, chai, barleycup, random Whittards fruit teas notwithstanding).

This being said, visitors will find a selection of tea, and proper coffee on offer-I tend to have coffee bags, which are great for proper coffee swiftly delivered!

I'ver tried to drink coffee three or four times in my entire life, but it's just too bitter. However, I do like the rich, organic smell of it.

I wouldn't worry about it – have had this many a time but the enjoyment does come back.
