caddymanThis may or may not interest people, but Ian Wallace has formed (what may only be an occasional band)the Crimson Jazz Trio, based in the Los Angeles area. In addition to Wallace on drums, the trio features Tim Landers on Bass, and Jody Nardone on Piano.
The raison d'etre of CJ3 is to play Crimson classics in a free style jazz format. They have recorded some material and MP3s are available on the website. No news yet, of any tours (which I would expect would only be local to the LA area initially -boo hiss), but a CD is in the works.
