The snow has reached north London. For the first time in the 12 months I've lived in Whetstone, it is snow worthy of the name, cutting visibility to a couple of hundred yards at best. Yes, I realise this is still nothing to those of you in Chicago or Toronto and such places, but this is good stuff in England, and particularly in London which is always a good three or so degrees warmer than anywhere else.

Oh.

It's stopped again.

All the teachers in the school I'm at have been wishing for a snow day. The weather is taunting is. It even settled across the playing field the other day before promptly metling and raining. Boo.

We're expecting some tomorrow/Friday, and it looks beautiful, but I dislike driving in the stuff. If it fell on a Friday eve with the certainty of being gone by Sunday morn, when I have to drive, I'd probably go out and frolic in it.
