They are. I was surprised how small they are, last time I encountered one for real. Their wingshape reminds me of a dragonfly's wings. I've just been browsing the rest of your photos. I especially like the composition of the lone spitfire - you have some iconic shots there. I have a huge fondness for all things that fly.
