You know, I didn't think you could fail to notice a ring falling off your finger.

Well you can. I've lost my Claddagh ring and am a tad peed off about it. I've had a good root around and can't find it; I'm vaguely hoping it fell off here, and not in the street, and that it will reappear after some random interval.

Bugger damn and blast.

Have you considered it might have given up on you and is off to seek another owner?

Hope it's just cowering in the corner, suffering from SAD (Seasonal Auric Disorder) and just needs a bit of a polish to encourage it to continue it's lonely vigil on yer digit.
