Yule spookiness?

caddymanI realise that I have been rather remiss on posting a note linking Halloween stories with the songs that inspired them. I can’t do this right now as I am at work, and although I can make a post and disguise it as work, it is rather more difficult to trail back through LJ and remind myself of who wrote what and why a month ago.
Looks bad, see.
Anyway, I was wondering if I was pushing my luck too far in thinking about the annual Christmas ghost story, or whether anyone who might have felt compelled to contribute has already burnt out their creative juices with Halloween.
I shall probably try and squeak out a five hundred worder, if I can think of anything. Is anyone else interested? This doesn’t count as a either a commitment or the announcement of a challenge: I’m just fishing to see if there’s any festive interest and to use my new icon for the first time.
