Bonjour mes petits Geeks et Geekettes.

I shouldn't have found this if not for my good friend [livejournal.com profile] fencingsculptor, who has posted these on his own journal.

He is a fey creature, though and friends locks his entries. Publicity whores such as me have no such scruples, so here are three pictures of the redesigned TARDIS interior for the new season commencing on Saturday 3 April at 6.20 on BBC1, starting with the episode The Eleventh Hour.

Well I like it, yer miserable bugger :-P

In the middle picture, the console looks to owe something to the McGann TV movie version.

Calm yourself, o rampant one. It does all look like the inside of some poor chap's spleen.

Mmm. Looks like it would taste of fine-quality tomato soup. I will be disappointed if at some point in the series they do not have a bunch of 60s women dancing like mad on the console in go-go boots and tie-dyed minidresses. Groovy!

Where do the pole dancers go? it looks like a nightclub, and those two look too young to be in it.

I suppose they could strip everything out to put the poles in...

I like the design, but I think that the lighting is a bit garish. Hopefully it will be more subdued on the TV.

I think it's good to keep moving and changing and yes, under studio lighting I'm sure it will look cool, its great that we finally have a pretty slick kids* show.

It looks like it's been built of radioactive Gruyere.

But in a good way.
