The thought that I should try this meme (I don't do memes) crept into the back of my head, wandered around for a bit and then bounced up and down on my cortex before slithering off for a cup of tea and a relaxing shower.

Just to keep it quiet and give the other voices a chance I decided I should try it out. Apparently:

I write like
Douglas Adams

Edited to add: Just to test the accuracy of the analyzer, I tried some Dimpler Towers text. People have told me that there is a Vivian Stanshall vibe going on there, others have suggested something between Pratchett and Wodehouse. The analyzer tells me it's more like Dan Brown.

Thank you and good night.

*snort*

I'd rather read Dimpler than Dan Brown any day.

I have a feeling that all it looks at is something simple like sentence length, rather than structure or the words used or anything.

I got Dan Brown for two wildly different samples, so basically I could just die of shame.
