caddymanYears ago I tried making a voice post on LJ and actually managed a short message.
As far as I can remember, that was it. The access number for the UK no longer works from a mobile (at least not with my iPhone, it doesn't). In one of those marvellous logic loops, I dial the number and get a recorded message telling me that the number is not free from a mobile: hang up and redial without the initial 0. Do that and find the number will not connect.
So voice posts are for landlines only. My PC is nowhere near our landline, so you will not be hearing my dulcit tones anytime soon!
