caddymanI thought I ought to record, largely for my own benefit, the fact that England trounced Australia to retain the Ashes for the first time in 24 years.
I know that the team technically did so in the fourth Test in Melbourne, but to win the fifth and final match by an innings and 83 runs in Sydney is rather special.
I am among the first to grumble when it all goes wrong, so here is me recording the fact it all went horribly right!
