Farcebørk

A quick question for those of you on my chums page who own an iPhone and who use Farcebørk.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it impossible to post pictures from the Farcebørk app? I never noticed until recently, because I’ve only really taken an interest in the past couple of months. The facility is certainly supposed to be there, but it always fails and asks me to try later. The first couple of times it happened I thought it might be because I had a poor signal, but even at home with the benefit of the wifi, it won’t play ball.

It is most frustrating.

I have taken to posting things to Photobucket or Flickr using their respective apps and then linking, but it would be nice from time to time just for the technology to do what it claims to be able to do!

Does anyone have any ideas about settings on the iPhone or more widely on Farcebørk that I could tweak to make it work properly?

I can never get it to work either. It's most frustrating. It worked for a while before the last update, but now it's broken again. You also don't appear to be able to upload photos via the web app. I think I will leave a negative review on the iTunes store!

Are you uploading pics directly from the iPhone or from a PC/laptop? I haven't had any issues posting pics from my phone (I usually tend to do it using Tweetdeck so it goes onto Twitter as well, but sometimes I use the normal Facebook App), but I have had issues posting them from my laptop and desktop. It didn't seem to like me using Firefox for some reason, but it worked fine when I used IE. I hope you can get it worked out!

Most of the time I upload from the PC and that's fine, but from time to time, I try direct from my iPhone and it no longer seems capable of doing it either through the 3G network or over wi-fi.

Whether it's the app, or the shifting sands that are FB, I have no idea...

I cannot stand Facebörg at large. It´s too much schoolyard stuff, I keep getting invitations from grown-ups to be bitten by vampires and to play poker. If I feel a need to play poker Crying of Lot 49style I´d choose some other place with sexier men, too. I´m only in it for two or three old friends from back when in Sweden and otherwise avoid the place like the plague. Also, I largely find the site unmanageable, it unnerves me.

Rarely use Facebook for anything other than chatting and/or plugging the book... Occasionally update my status, and equally occasionally post a pic.
