caddymanBuilding Dreamwidth in my preferred image continues apace. I have selected a layout that I like, imported all my posts from Live Journal - sadly sans comments and set it up so that when I post from what I am hoping will be a more stable platform, it will cross-post to Live Journal, too.
What I haven't done and I don't know if I can yet, is to set it up to import the entries made by my friends and by communities outside of Dreamwidth. That's a shame, but it's not as if as I've said before, that I am abandoning Live Journal, I simply want somewhere where I can carry on doing my thing without Russian dissidents spoiling my fun and interrupting my griping.
Feel free to add me if I know you and you are on or about to join Dreamwidth. If I don't already know you and you think it would be fun to join me anyway, leave a comment and I'll most probably oblige. My two criteria are that you should be a person, rather than a bot, and having satisfied that you have met that condition, that you are reasonably polite. You don't have to agree with me and I am happy for you to tell me so.
Just don't be rude about it.
