I haven’t been visited by the Karma Pixies for a while, but today they are showing their collective faces early.

Before 10am I had received three urgent requests, one to the most hilarious of comedy deadlines, two for information completely outside my policy area and another from someone who swears he left the commissioning request on my voice mail yesterday evening.

In the meantime, the quite separate meeting for 10am seems to have jumped to an alternative dimension. The meeting room had one briefing paper, a pen and someone’s bottle of water, but no occupants or any suggestion that they had transferred the meeting elsewhere or otherwise postponed it.

I see the date is the 26th – I am beginning to worry that the Karma Pixies are going to treat it as two 13ths running concurrently…
