Motivation?

caddymanOh Kids, what can I tell you? Today, Your Hero (ie me) is King of Lethargy.
For some reason, almost everything just feels like the most monumental bore and hassle. I suppose, being pedantic, that’s both apathy and lethargy, but who cares? (Hah!). All in all, it is what they would have called in the 1960s, a drag, Man.
While there’s loads of stuff happening in the wider world that’s noteworthy and on other occasions probably even rant worthy, today it’s all just sliding past me. I wrote the first line to a rant earlier on this morning and before I got to the second sentence, I realised that although I was het up about the subject (on a matter of principle, not import, or anything), I wasn’t so vexed as to be bothered to organise my concentration and marshal my arguments.
It is my tragedy of the day: it is a day for sitting in the sunniest spot in the garden with a glass of Pimm’s, feet up, book open and some soothing music playing somewhere. I am instead in the office bored out of my gourd, trying to stay awake.
