Mattress Sightings

jennanne has seen one hitching a ride in a truck in Oklahoma, but ellefurtle has reported a possible kidnap of an unwilling mattress in Reading.

Has word got out? Are elderly beds across the world making a break for freedom? Are the Linen Stasi rounding up homeless beds? Or are they spawning? (The mattresses, not the Linen Stasi).

Something odd is afoot...

There was one skulking behind some Rhodendendrun bushes on the way home from work. Looked as if it was gearing itself to mug some unsuspecting passer by as night fell...

This getting worrying...

I never realised how animated a mattress freed could be. London-Oklahoma- Reading (UK)- New City NY in 36 hours.

The damn thing is collecting frequent flier vouchers....
