Are you one of those people who believes that there used to be intelligent life on Mars, as evidenced by the face on Cydonia?

Whaddaya reckon to the Mars Lion, then?

Of course now I'm singing...

If you believed they put a lion on Mars, a lion on Mars
If you believe there's a lion in the stars, so way up far.

The head and shoulders thereof. Highlighted in the cut away on the left, head at top. It's more of a lioness...

Honest.

Aha!

now i see what you're talking about.

Somehow I suspect that even advanced intelligent races wouldn't rearrange a large proportion of their planet's geography to depict a single lifeform badly. Always supposing they had lionesses (the big argument against the Face on Mars if you ask me.)

Nice pic though

Don't forget that not only do Martians have loads of free time, but they only get to see these animals through giant parabolic telescopes so they're bound to be a bit distorted...
