Well read weather
Tuesday, April 27th, 2004 06:57 pmI am not impressed.
Though lighter now than it was an hour past, the weather nonetheless continues to be all Brontë on me and a touch Wuthering, at that.
It is near on seven of the clock and I am stuck in the office without a hat, coat or brolly - though with all the lightning the lack of the latter is probably a blessing in disguise. Outside the weather continues tempestuous, though now it appears to have become a bit more Silas Marner than Mr Rochester.
I shall make a run for it.
