This is very much a shot in the dark.

Does anyone know of any re-releases by Snape, or The Snape Band - a band which spent a lot of time supporting Alexis Korner in the early-mid '70s…?

With a line up that includes Peter Thorup (guitar, vocals), Boz Burrell (bass), Mel Collins (sax) and Ian Wallace on drums, it has to be worth digging around to find something by them…

Sounds pretty good. I might have a look around e-bay. I need new music.

I am reading back over your journal for some odd and inexplicable reason but hey! syncronicity-(or maybe not since I have an enormous, near archive, collection of all kinds of recorded music) I have a copy of the Snape album (er somewhere amongst all my other stuff!) and lots of Alexis Korner etc. Want a tape of Snape? cannot make a cd, sorry, one day.......if so... Check with Ashenkat that I am human and no more crazy than most and let me know how to get same to you. So, not a shot in the dark at all if you still have a tape player.
All the best

Cool, and indeed groovy.

A tape would be very welcome, if you pass one on to Kat, I'm sure we can arrange for delivery at some point. Thanks very much.
